How Does It Work?
The Fastlane Pro is a water jet system that creates a powerful current, adding the functionality for endless swimming to an existing pool. Rather than paying for a costly expansion, the Fastlane Pro allows you to swim endlessly in your existing swimming pool.
The current created by the Fastlane Pro is even and can be adjusted for speed, making it very versatile. It’s perfect for exercise, hydrotherapy, or even a bit of fun for the kids.
The current generated is a laminar flow, which means it’s not turbulent—it both provides resistance to swim against, and lifts you up to make finding your perfect rhythm easier. This replicates the feeling of swimming in open water.
Jets vs Propellers
Fastlane Pools also offers a range of purpose built swim spas for endless swimming. These use airless jets to create a turbulence free current, but the Fastlane Pro works slightly differently. Instead of jets, the Fastlane Pro uses a custom-designed propeller. This propeller then pushes the current through a channelling system, to offer the same precision resistance and smooth flow as our swim spas.
Fits Any Pool
The system uses a remote hydraulic power unit connected to the in-pool swim unit, ensuring that all electrical components are kept away from the water. This also gives you control over the current’s power, making it ideal for any pool type—in-ground, above-ground, fibreglass, concrete, you name it.
The seamless installation of the Fastlane Pro allows it to enhance any pool, as long as the width is adequate for swimming—we tend to recommend a minimum of 2m wide and 3m long. You’ll also be safest and most comfortable using the Fastlane Pro in a pool with a minimum depth of 99cm.
